Breaking down PORN 101

From the script to the screen, there is a lot that goes with the making of porn.  As of late, I have noticed that the best porn is that filmed with stars that TRULY are attracted to each other.  Why is this?  I think I have some ideas on why this kind of filming leads to more of an art than a "porn flick" as creating the chemistry is often very difficult.

Porn is intended to create and visualize a fantasy.  If the actors in the film appear to be faking orgasms or even as far as faking enjoying the act of sex with their partner, it ruins the fantasy.  At this point the viewer now sees the film as almost perfectly displaying what their real sex is like.  Often times, porn watchers are married men who are afraid to express their sexual desires to their spouses, and therefore watch what they would like to do. Whether it be something taboo and secret, or just a little more freaky than their partner may be into the point of a porn movie is to help him visualize what acting it out would be like.  Faking isn't usually a part of that.

Most films lately are more about the "woman's skills" and less about the man's ability to please a woman.  A misconception is that the guy doesn't really care about the man in the video, and that may be true to some extent however if that were 100% the case then the viewer wouldn't care if it was a dildo.  We all know that more often than not the male viewer fantasizes that HE is the man in the video and therefore, he would imagine himself to be a good looking, skilled performer.

It's time to step it up.... take pride in your work.  QUALITY not QUANTITY.
