Many people ask about the transitions of my life since the introduction of my amateur porn career. It seems that many people assume that there is far more negative to come from a life of nudity, endless numbers of lovers and countless unGodly acts. Part of being in this business, you have to self teach yourself things like video editing, photoshop, website development, photography, and various other skills. These tools can be used anywhere! Training for future jobs or self employment can't be a bad thing! Not only that, but it helps to be self sufficient so that you don't have to rely on others to get work done for you. Nonetheless, great skills to acquire.
Another positive aspect I've gained from my experience in the adult industry is the confidence I have developed. When I began my journey, I had just started to develop an improved self image, self esteem and learning to love myself. I had a tough life, and my weight was definitely a factor of negative attention for a very long time. Once I was able to capitalize off my size, it totally changed the way I see myself, and ultimately my body. NOW? Geez, totally new person. Those days are LONG gone.
I'd be lying if I said that my experience has been all great or positive, but in ANY venture you run into snags and drama. I can say there are MANY misconceptions about the adult entertainment business, and that much of what the public believes is inaccurate at best. I am not here to argue the politics of the biz, simply to share some of the positive things I have gained from my participation.
